On April 22, 2008 we celebrated Earth Day.
50+ wonderful homeschoolers came to our home.
We tie dyed t-shirts, painted flower pots, planted flowers
in our pots, ate yummy, yummy food brought by everyone.
We laughed and listed to music.
We drummed and danced.
We had face painting and henna body art.
Our kids ran around. They swung on swings and ran
through the woods. They climbed trees.
We had a water ballon fight(with biodegradible water ballons)
We got to be outside on Earth Day.
We enjoyed our earth.
We as a group also only generated 1/2 a bag of trash and 1/2 a barrel of recyclables.
Reduce, reuse, recycle!!!
We feel so blessed to have so many wonderful friends in our life.
Let me say again, we are so lucky.
Celebrate the earth everyday!!
