I sat on the front lawn watching the sun change from orange to pink to purple tonight..I played my guitar as my kids ran around building new fairy "forts"....Fairy houses have been built, now they need forts, with rocks... :)
I sang my heart out, beacause the hills are there to listen....
Hannah layed tithonia blossoms at my feet, since she has long learned not to interrupt me as I sing and play guitar... Then she danced.. She danced as I played "Rachel"..:My oh my and side to side, you know she moved so smooth and oh that girl could dance!!" It was perfect..
I wish I could play guitar and take pictures then re-size them and post this....
Guess this will come in time.. For now living on the Cowpath, playing guitar as the sun goes down, hearing and experiencing my childrens laughter as we experience all that is surrounding us...is good enough:)
Peace.
"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built upon the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think. Whereas, if the child is left to himself, he will think more and better, if less showily. Let him go and come freely, let him touch real things and combine his impressions for himself, instead of sitting indoors at a little round table, while a sweet-voiced teacher suggests that he build a stone wall with his wooden blocks, or make a rainbow out of strips of coloured paper, or plant straw trees in bead flower-pots. Such teaching fills the mind with artificial associations that must be got rid of, before the child can develop independent ideas out of actual experience." -- Anne Sullivan
